Prepare to mark your calendars because the influential group Sublime With Rome is setting their sights on New Zealand with a grand tour this summer.
Initiating on December 27, this legendary ska-punk band will grace seven major venues throughout the nation, bringing their signature sounds to eagerly awaiting fans.
Tour Highlights
The band will inaugurate their action-packed adventure by headlining the renowned Le Currents indie festival in Taupo, sharing the stage with Ocean Alley. Next, they will make their way to Tauranga for an electric show on December 28.
Their performance at Rock The Bowl in New Plymouth will follow on December 29, serving as their final appearance for 2023. The band will usher in 2024 with an ensemble show featuring Drax Project, Coterie, and My Baby at Shake & Bake in Wellington on January 3.
Sublime With Rome will continue the musical journey by serenading their fans in Havelock, performing in collaboration with Elemeno P on January 4. They then set course for Nelson on January 5 to join the highly acclaimed Kiwi band, L.A.B.
The tour concludes at Coro Classic in the Coromandel on January 6. The festival, which is expected to sell out just like last year, will feature a dazzling lineup of over 30 local and global acts.
Origin of Sublime With Rome
Sublime With Rome emerged in 2010 when original Sublime member Eric Wilson united with Rome Ramirez. Since then, the band has released numerous hits that have topped the charts. Their concerts are expected to feature crowd-pleasers like “Wrong Way,” “Santeria,” “Badfish,” “What I Got,” “Caress Me Down,” and more.
